week 1- Evic dual battery regulated mod & a Gemini (1 own built coil)
Week 2- fishbone rda and an unregulated dual battery mod - on order

This guy is moving so fast. I've explained what I can. He said he wants icr batteries,I said use imr imo. I've told him to watch the Mooch explanations and reviews and have tried to explain battery safety somewhat.
I've said to stick with regulated until he is competent and comfortable.
I've told him to marry the batteries.
I've told him to use Torchy for batteries but he couldn't find them on eBay so he just bought efests off of a random.

I'm worried for him. Hope he takes some of that on board. Hope the guy is not too quick for his own good.

Also, had a d***head say I should just 'man up' and 'quit cigarettes properly' as I was trying to explain. A trying day...

Haha I can relate. I'm a tech geek and I recently got into battery mods. Also got some efests to save a few bucks lol. But I'm only using a provari and drawing ~2.5 amps. I'm planning to get some better brand batteries though to ease my mind. What scared me straight was a thread I found on Google "shaken up provari owner" about a loose battery exploding in a backpack.

BTW can someone explain what marrying batteries means?

You buy them together. You label them. You charge them together. You use them together. Whatever one does, the other does. You never use them separately, only together. You never let them be apart. This way you can be assured that they wear evenly, and are safe to continue using together. The last thing you want is two un-matched batteries in a device at the same time.

Hey smokin95. Like everyone said charge and discharge together. Keep married batteries together always. All my batteries are labelled so with the married ones I just put a little symbol like a 'star' next to the 1 and 2. That way they don't get mixed up with my other married pairs

Obviously different little symbols on each pair. So far I got triangles, circles and stars. I've become too attached to my batteries, and they have become attached to each other ;)

When 2 batteries love each other they stay together....no mingling with other batteries. If you bought 2 batteries to use in one device, do not let one go on a date with another battery.

I totally understand this, I really do. But  I can't stop giggling.

You've done what you can. You've advised him against ICR batteries. You've told him about a reliable battery reseller (Link for Torchy: big_f_d_d on eBay ). You've told him about Mooch and have told him about battery safety.

The fact that he's too impatient/stupid to take any notice and is intent on becoming an "expert" in days is down to him.

As for the other idiot... If you no longer use cigarettes or other forms of combustible tobacco, you've stopped smoking. End of! ;)

FDA will require marriage licenses for your batteries, cost is minimal..

My concern in my batteries were married in NY. The two in the Sig 213 are both female and the Cuboid are both males.

Will my batties still be considered married if I travel out of state??

Depends on the state. Don't take them to Georgia, Texas, Louisiana or Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Michigan, North or South Dakota or Nebraska

Their marriages will be null and void and you'll have to use them in single battery devices only! You could, however, send them to me here in NC. I'll make sure they live long and happy lives together;)
