Spending a small mini fortune isn't really in my budget but that is what I've been doing...So my first e-cig I bought was at a smoke shop completely a dud kept smoking analogs. Second I went and got the Aspire dual coil with a basic battery. I was impressed. I really was chasing this throat vape hit. So I heard about the Vision Spinner, got that. Then my Aspire starts not acting right so I bought aEvod BBC but it kinda gurgles. And doesn't hit the way my aspire does, did...Also yes I changed the coil in the Aspire...After like 2 weeks of using as I didn't know to change anything. Then I heard that the Vision spinner isn't so great with the Dual coil or at least the Aspire. Sorry if my lingo is off. Trying to get it all right.
The guy at my local vape shop says my Aspire is the older version.
Any recommendations, really just looking for a good throat hit, lots of clouds, with minimum maintenance. Thanks

I've found pretty much everything vaping requires a certain amount of attention on the users part. You will probalby get a bunch of replies on everyones favorites. I use the Kanger line exclusively so I would suggest getting a Mini Protank II and a box of extra coils. Change out the coil when the vape production gets poor and you should be golden. Keep your old coils as they are rebuildable. But I don't rebuild, you say. Maybe not now, but you probaly will in the future, it's a natural progression in vaping and can save you some money.

More vapor is achievable with a high VG juice. PG provides throat hit as does nicotine level. It may be that your juice is partly the culprit. Always start with sample packs if you don't know what your body wants or works well with. Better to spend a little on a sample juice, find out you love it, and then buy a bigger bottle than the other way round.

My favorite setup - even now! is an eGo Twist battery and Kanger T2 clearomizer (they have replaceable heads) and are the cheapest and easiest to maintain. Buy online from here for example DiscountVapers - Your source for savings on electronic cigarettes and accessories, Go-go eGo, vGo because regular stores have a lot more overhead and that shows in their pricing. The T2 clearos are available in a 2.5 (too high/cool vape) but I believe the replacement heads are available in the lower ranges.

In addition, Kanger clearomizers are made specifically for eGo battteries so there's not the leaking problem, and they are easy to fill (just tip bottle of juice in clearo. Even I managed to get that one right).

What ohm is your clearomizer coils? I would recommend a 2 or 2.2 for regular batteries unless you're already expert with making coils (i'm not, I'm highly technically challenged lol)

What nicotine level is your juice? That can impact a lot. If you continued smoking cigarettes, it may be the nicotine level wasn't high enough. How many cigarettes did you/do you smoke a day? Hopefully we can get you better suited up once and for all for the lowest price till you're in the groove as it were. :)

Agreed except for the ohms. For a normal ego battery 1.8ohm is the way to go :) 2.2ohm are to weak. However on a vision spinner 1.8 or 2.2 doesn't matter as much. :)
I'm running Mini pt2 with 1.8ohms and vision spinner. :)

You're right. I always think of them in ranges of 2 - 1.8-2.0 or 2.0-2.2. Thanks for mentioning!

I only been vaping for 70 days or so... and I love the EVOD BCC's ... when I reload juice I am very careful not to fill over the center air shaft.. If you use a white papertowel as the background -- peer thru the airshaft and make sure there is no liquid in the airshaft...

Then when I put the coil back in, I aim it carefully back into the the center air shaft being sure not to touch the liquid with the end of the coil post thingy.

After I tighten it down... and before I put it back on the battery or turn the EVOD upright -- with the mouth tip still facing downward, I wipe the inside of the air tube down with a rolled papertowel -- I guess a Q-tip would be easier and better -- but, I already have papertowel out?? so why not use some of that?!? right? :)

Anyway... never any gurgling, leaking or issues.

Throat hit has to do with nicotine levels I think... I was Marlboro 100's for 30+ years.... I started with 18mg nicotine.... but, as much as I was hitting it - I think I was putting too much N into my bloodstream, cause I was getting muscle/nerve twitches in places I didnt normally get muscle/nerve twitches.. ... I moved down to 12mg.... and now I am going to 6mg ---

If I really need a bam-boost-give-it-too-me-NOW?!? I'll hit 2 Egos with Evods at the same time... hahaha... laughing - but it's true! :)

Go online and find yourself a MVP 2 if you like the idea of a box shaped device. If not the VAMO is pretty good, get the V5, it is a tube shaped device. Both of those are variable wattage and variable voltage, so you can fine tune them to get an optimum vape.

As far a clearos go, the Kangers are really good, I own a few PT2's, which I re-build coils for. The Iclear 30s is really hard to beat for trouble free use, and awesome vaping. The coils last a long time, upwards of 2 weeks, and they just work, and work well all the time in my experience with them.

Find and buy good juice to vape. It used to frustrate me when I installed car stereo getting customers who would spend thousands on speakers and amps, yet skimp on a source unit. As it is with car audio, so it is with vaping. The best gear, well set up and cared for is only going to amplify crappy juice.

Good luck, and welcome!

As others have said, to get more vapor you will need more power. Take a look at the iTaste V3. Not much bigger than your Spinner, goes up to 11 watts, and charges off your android phone cable (any micro usb really). As far as batteries go, this is low maintenance and good power.

Top that with a Protank Mini 2 and you should be good.

This is my setup too. I started here, thanks to a smart vaping mentor, and I think I saved a whole lot of $$$$ starting with a decent device. I went from 1 1/2 packs per day of Kools to 0 in four days (still can't believe it).

You got off on the right foot there. Congrats! Still hard to believe how easy it can be to replace cigs with vape.

so I bought aEvod BBC but it kinda gurgles.

pull the top part off of the coil assembly and drop a piece or two of 1mm wick on it. that might help keep too much juice from going into it. supposedly the earlier evods had trouble with building up too much vacuum in the chamber, thus drawing too much juice into the coil area. their remedy was 3 slightly larger intake holes (which i have gone and blocked two of them off (dern thing draws like a garden hose, lol)).
