Correct me if I am wrong.

This is a forum for people who are users of the E-Cigarette.

It was started as a knowledge base for new users to help them into the scene.

It was populated by people who GENUINELY wanted to help and spent time and effort to do so. Time given freely.

I for one am TRULY grateful.

When did it get taken over by the power mad, axe-wielding self important tyrants with nothing better to do with their lives than dictate to others their version of the truth?

What do you think the new users of the E-Cig, the very people the forum was set up to help, are going to make of this place? and E-Cig users in general?

Think about it.

If you were a newbie and stumbled across this place, full of questions and doubt, what the hell would you think?

What sort of an impression do you lot give?

Who needs the governments banning E-Cigs when you lot can put off any one interested.

Spikey, THANK YOU.
Leaford, Thank You.
Walrus, Thank You.

The UK users, THANK YOU.

Most of the rest of you, Try and keep your dummies in the pram.

I`m now getting my coat.

Proof once again, people get the governing body they deserve. democracy in action.

I've been on a lot of boards in the last decade or so. Some are like the wild west, with no moderation whatsoever. Others are moderated to the point that it kills the board. Personally, I tend to think that conflicts work themselves out and that moderators should generally stay out of it. However, there are disadvantages to a completely hands off approach.

Honestly, I think ECF is right about in the middle in terms of moderator intervention. Sometimes I think it's too much, other times I think it's not enough. In other words, I think the overall approach is probably just about right.

Wow, so do I! That is the most threatening avatar I've ever seen!! I'm surprised it would be allowed on a site that is friendly to everybody....

Totally different avatar was present when that post was made. At the time, it was an old man with a long beard wearing a shirt that said "SEX" in large letters.

Looked like this...

And that post was made as a joke ;)

Yes I was brought up to NOT point guns at people. There are 2 avatars on here that are doing it. If I notice the name I don't even read the post. Anyone inconsiderate enough to point a gun at another person even in a photo, does not respect the person they are pointing it at. IMHO they should not even be able to own a gun because they are for self defense not to play with. Would serve the 2 forum members right if they "accidentally" shot a hole in the screen, or possibly ricocheted and shot themselves in the ... well they wouldn't be sitting for a few weeks!! Guns are to be respected NOT played with!

Yeah...I'd hate for it to go off and accidentally hit a forum member.

Tell you what; since so many people are frightened of the internet gun, I'll change my avatar to something else.

Hopefully the absence of the pew-pew will help rid people of their nightmares, feed the homeless, help us win the war against banning PV's and cure cancer...I mean, I know it's THAT big a deal.

Avatar officially changed. Here's hoping everyone is much less offended by my new, altogether unthreatening and totally harmless avatar!

CHEERS!

It didn't offend, frighten, or give me nightmares Terraphon, I was just hoping to get the biker dude back.

If you want, I can PM him to you. Then, anytime you need a giggle, just open your pm box.

Just don't be drinking anything. Liquid, through the nose and on to the keyboard is NEVER a good thing!

Apparently it was, much to my chagrin.

I like the red shirt sex guy, too...I've just been avatar bouncing until I find one I want to stick with.

I may have found the perfect one, though, in the one that's there, now.

Also, working 6 13 hour days per week sucks...bad...

I don't like "balls" so I am not real fond of the new one... but if u like it that is fine :) (canI say that on this forum? Not being sarcastic.. just not sure what the new rules are and would like to follow them).

I am working by .... off here too... way too much to do. Meeting with more legislators this week (I hope) to prevent the PV ban.

Thanks so much for all you're doing for us, Spikey. Your video introduced so many of us to vaping, and your efforts on our behalf are making an important contribution for the future of the "hobby".

I really believe in what you're doing! You're honest and real. You Go Girl!

No worries. I'm sure some folks are offended by the sun rising in the morning.(If they are up to see it and not cowering under the covers)
