Spilled Shipment

Won't name vendor who recently shipped me and order of pg/vg-nic base for my lazy way of diy--just add flavor, shake, steep and vape.
Was 250 ml plastic bottle enclosed in clear plastic sack enclosed in oversize bubble padded envelope with about half of it doubled over and taped shut.
Price was attractive compared to usual vendor, shipment was prompt and timely.
HOWEVER, upon opening found that bottle had leaked out of the thin clear plastic bag into the bubble padded envelope. Not a lot but sure was easy to see what happened. Could have been expansion due to heat during trip?
Vendor was very apologetic, said never happened before. Wasn't asking for any kind of credit since not that much $ involved.
So, for the lack of a cheap box with some rigidity and protection during shipment, leak happened--just what anti-vapers would jump on. Just glad it wasn't max percent of nic and it did't get attention of usps people en route.
Vendor people, are YOU half fast?

I can think of one place that has shipped 236 ml bottles of liquid in USPS mailers designed to handle paper media only - and shouldn't.

I got a shipment of 100mg nicotine that leaked from the bottle into the ONE ziplock it was enclosed in; 100mg nicotine on someone's hands would have been a serious problem. I'll be ordering my nicotine from WizLabs from now on.

I'm not sure on the vendor... but if it's who I think, email him and he will send you another one. Although might not be them. Start with a k? They had a sale on base last this week.

I just received an order of glass bottles half of them broken. I think UPS should take some of the blame for rough handling.

Rough handling is a given with UPS USPS and FedEx. It's up to the vendor to package accordingly. Anyone who mails 250ml of liquid in a bubble mailer is asking for problems.

Not sure why you can't name the vendor. You might save someone the hassle of going through what you just went through. Glad no one got hurt handling 250ml of nicotine. Shipping 250ml of TOXIC liquid in a bubble wrap bag is just crazy.

I think the forum rules say you should only post negative reviews in the suppliers forum. If you just post in the regular forums, the supplier might not see the complaint and doesn't have a chance to respond.

I wonder if they had shipped the solution as pesticide instead of as eliquid base, whether they would have taken more care in wrapping and boxing it. Things that make you go "hmm."

People complain about shipping costs now; wait until e-liquid is considered a hazardous substance for mailing purposes...

Or until you need a HazMat certification to be able to order. This is already the case with one vendor who sells nic in higher concentrations than can be mentioned here.
