Spimner Broken Dial Knob

Hi All,
I was vaping my spinner and went to turn it up and found that the twist dial had come off. I found it in my pocket but it wouldn't stay in when I tired to reattach it. Does anyone know if there is some part that I may have lostthat holds the dial in? There is a little metal pice that sticks up and fits into a small slot inside the battery casing but I think that is just to turn whatever actually changes the voltage but it doesn't hold the knob to the ecig. Is it safe to use without the knob?

Can you post some pics? Might help.

The small slot is probably the adjuster of the potentiometer, the tab would then fit in to move it with the dial. Pics might help to figure out what held the dial...

If that's the case, it should be ok to use. Take care to keep lint and other foreign matter out. Just akward to adjust!
