I have always recommended Vision Spinner and Evod as the perfect beginner kit, but what about twister and now Winder? I will be honest, I have had both the twister and Spinner, but prefer the Spinner with it's 1300mAh capacity and slightly shorter and thicker profile. Now that the Winder is out I am hearing how much better it is than the other two. Before I buy one, and to help newbies decide on which will work best for them, I would like to get some feedback on which one out of the Spinner, Twister, or Winder you all prefer. As far as the Spinner, here is a Spinner article that will help those who haven't used a dial type eGo VV, as I still recommend unless Anyone can convince me the Winder is the new King of the Hill.

I have never had a spinner, but I do have a twist and a winder. Of the two I prefer the winder, mostly due to the dial. It is much easier to read and stays where I set it really well. Almost no accidental changes of the voltage, this is with me putting it in my pocket alot. The dial on the twist seems to move if I blow on it. The knurling on the dial of the winder is also a nice touch. I also love the fact that I can read the voltages on the winder without a spotlight, unlike the twist. I have had the 900mah version of both for about a month now and as far as performance they are about the same. The smoktech winder is a solid ego vv and worth recommending IMHO. I would defiantly put it above the twist. When I go to get a new ego battery I'll probably look at the winder and spinner and get the one that is cheaper as a lot of people like the spinner also.

I also really like the evod and almost always have an evod or t3 on my ego's. A couple evods and winders would make a great starter kit IMHO.

Thanks for the post HughDaHand! You gotta check out the new TS3 since you like the T3! Head is removable from the base like Evod and Protank, chrome bands top and bottom, the base is stilled knurled but finer, and the tip is clear. I got mine as a beta tester but vendors should start carrying them within a week if not already. The only thing I didn't like about the T3 was the dark polycarbonate, oh and the base, both of which were changed.

I have a 1300 mah Spinner which I like very much, I too am curious about the Winder. I have seen it at some very good prices, I will wait and see how good a job SmokTech did with the Winder. I hope it's good, would like to see another viable option to keep prices in check.

Seems Vision updated some stuff for 2013, one on the updates is the markings on the Spinner, it now has marks between the numbers.
