spinner won't fire

Have a 2 month old vision vstik spinner that seems to have quit today. Won't fire have made sure it is turned on, cleaned, and pin on battery is raised. When plugged into charger power button flashes 5 times then alternates between bright and dim. Charger led briefly turns red when first connected then immediately turns green. Have also cleaned charger contacts.

When off charger power button does not light up when pressed. Again, I have tried pressing the button 5 times quickly to turn on and still nothing.

Ideas? Fixes?

It appears the protection circuit has tripped. What were you using on it and what resistance?

Sounds like you've done what you can to troubleshoot it yourself. That said, if you bought it from a local B&M, I'd take it back and ask them to check it out...you should certainly get more than a couple of months out of it.

It is set on 4.8
only thing that has changed is I replaced the atomizer today and it had a burned taste after. Don't know if it makes a difference but the new one has a point on the end that contacts the battery and the old one has a flat tip with a notch through it. Don't know if that could have caused any issues but everything used, including battery were purchased at the same shop.

Take it back and ask for assistance...

In my experience spinner type batteries are good for entry level but eventually you may want to consider an MVP or istick... I have had my MVP for over a year and treated it like a government mule, tossed it in the bottom of bags, leaked juice on it, dropped it... still fires like day one... I got a back up MVP... never used it... not once, didnt need to.
