It's Smok. They are crazy. Obsessed with power over any other aspect. In the past, their reliability and performance record was poor. They may have fixed many of those issues but I still wouldn't trust them to make a good vaping product.
The fact that the reviews sites big them up is more to do with commission and money than long-term vaper experience. The 'fake review' sites love them. All the important-people-in-vaping we are supposed to worship (who are just siphoning money from the unsuspecting) will gladly recommend every last product they sell. That tells us everything we need to know.
It's a jungle out there. Some things can't be fixed. We are all beta testers.
The good news is IF you are prepared to run them at high enough power they do ease off and calm down.
