Here is the thing. In Our FINE city. rules can be changed. hishams will say what they want and as long as you are in possession of a PROHIBITED item. regardless wheter you are peddling or if it is for personal use, They can Screw you up if they want to. So regardless please exercise discretion and vape discreetly.

My logic would be "dont wait till you get caught" its not worth it. whether u save money or not. it is not worth giving HISHAMS our hardearned cash. My opinion.

Peace.

Walked past a coffee shop in bedok central yesterday at around 9pm and saw a vaper puffing at the smoking table. I also saw a ZNA mod sitting on the table beside that vaper openly. If you're from here, my advise is please vape discretely and dont place your vaping gears openly in public. If i can spot them so easily, i'm sure HiShAm can spot them too..
There may be right and wrong depending on what aspect we are looking.. To me i guess as a newbie lay low is better or unless u get d cigg look a like type.. Just my 2cents..

It is very simple. Stated clearly in the papers and news that vaping is prohibited. So please dun challenge the law, even if the law itself is wrong to you or that it doesn't make sense. Those who serve NS may remember this simple rule; you can do anything as long as you dun get caught. Nobody cares if you smoke is the bunk or toilet or even the parade sq, as long as you dun get caught.. ;)
So guys and gals, pls do be smart about it.

I wouldn't personally vape in a store, restaurant or coffee shop etc., I'll go outside for a vape. Sitting my gear on the table or counter, sure, it's doing no harm to anyone just sitting there looking nice, also some good conversations started up because of people seeing my gear

Can't really do that in a country where vaping is illegal.

Old sayin - It's the nail that sticks out that gets hammered.

Flyin below the radar is sometimes better - less hassle :)

Besides - the concept of vaping is straightforward: A liquid is heated to generate vapour.
Just like cooking. Don't tell me there aren't any shops selling electronics parts and hardware in your part of the globe. A bit of ingenuity , a glob of creativity - DIY *all* the way :)

Actually it doesn't matter if one wishes to vape in public. Though it doesn't state that when you vape in public, it is prohibited, however, authorities can implement if they wish to and can apprehend if they want to. So do it at you own risk. The items are banned, i.e there is no way in getting anything unless you know how to.

The one thing that happens if you vape openly is that you are making it more difficult for members who are already doing discreetly. But we shall not judge, reprimand or teach a person to do things the way we wish it to be. You can do anything you want, just be mindful not to get caught. And if you really do get caught, you hold all responsibility for your actions.

i agree with Epic_Sinner. I think it is the same deal with ciggie smoking. there is all these restrictions on where can/cannot smoke. As it is smokers have a bad name already. Majority law abiding. Minority either screw loose, or just like to challenge the system. End up looking dumb, and make everyone else look dumb too. It is always a choice to smoke/vape discretely or publicly. The problem is that there is always a consequence which people don't give a hoot about.

Well .... happens all the time. Things are usually working out when people work together to make a community better. But there is always that one guy who messes things up.

common sense not common la that is the problem. even though i smoke (or used to), i hate it when people just lit up regardless of location and people. had to tell someone off who light up at a hospital entrance recently with a few pregnant women around.

One major issue with our countryman is haolian...

Before SAF implement the "yellow-box" policy, most smoker would "take cover" and smoke away from non-smoker.
Then some minority of the smoker smoke everywhere they wish and hence the restriction...

Its does not take much to kill the rest of your fellow vaper mate.
Do what you wish, but please be considerate.
