I've only been vaping and DIY for a couple months but in those months I have ended up with many partially filled bottles of unknown flavor and strength. I would have little late night mixing sessions and would tell myself I would remember what it was in the morning.

Well I have oldtimers disease apparently because I have NO clue what flavors or strengths these are.
So today I bought an inexpensive labeler that prints vertically and horizontal. I now have known juices properly labeled and tossed all the others out. A late night organization and bottle washing session.

Am I the only one?

This is the labeler I bought, only $19.99 at Staples

The tape price is one of the things that sold me, man have you seen the price of tape lately? One cartridge comes with it and you can get two for 8.95 of white and one for 8.95 of clear plastic like.. I went for one plastic and will just use clear tape over the white ones that came with it.

Not only were a ton of my bottles not labeled but those that were, had smeared and was barely readable. Much nicer now.

That is the one I have as well. I use it constantly. i always print off a two line label in small font with the name of the mix on the top line and then the strength on the bottom line. I then affix this to the 3ml dropper bottle and then wrap clear scotch tape around it as I found the glue from the label tape doesn't always stick to the bottle after a while. Wrapping the scotch tape over the top of the label seems to cure this problem.

Yep, me too, tazzman.

I bought the same one but had to get mine at Staples. Not only do I put the name and strength but I use a numbering system (1Aa, 1Cb, etc) that tells me where the recipe card is filed and other info. On the recipe card I have all my notes and dates. That way different versions of the same flavor are easily identified by reading the label.

I bought some Bickford Flavors that came today.

I asked for a labeler for my birthday so I won't have to keep printing the labels at work. Usually I change my mind about flavoring after I print the label...

Sometimes I come up with goofy abbreviations for flavor names: HoVanTo, for Honey-Vanilla-Tobacco. My newest one is VanCarCotTo... can you guess what that is?

I use a date-based numbering system: today's recipe number would be 100512.

Something for the shopping list: Goo Gone, to remove the label adhesive from juice bottles. Everclear will do it (with some scrubbing) but really need something better.
