Hey guys, so yeah I just received this today and my first ever build on this thing .65 ohms on a fully charged vtc5 battery on top of a deus mods prism mech. 2 mm micro coil with organic cotton wick. The deck is very similar to the original squape so setting this up for me was a breeze 1-2-3.
I felt the need to give my first impressions because after vaping on this thing for the day I'm nothing short of amazed. There are my opinions:
PROS:
Build quality - excellent, no burrs, perfect threads, protected glass tank
Visually pleasing
Airflow control - awesome, from a tight draw to wide open. I personally have been keeping it wide open for lung hits and haven't gotten one dry hit or gurgle. Pretty impressive for a chain vaper
Flavor - As a kayfun and dripper fan, IMO this thing delivers. Right up there, dare I say better than the kayfun? Lol and more in line with those reduced chamber drippers.
Vapor production - On a simple .65 ohm build with airflow wide open, this thing is blowing clouds and the wick is keeping up with it with no dry or burnt hits. I want to compare vapor production to somewhere in the middle of a dripper and genesis tank wide open. Dripper>squape r>genesis
Ease of setup - if setting up a kayfun for you is as easy as tieing your shoes, setting up the squape r is like velcroing them.
CONS:
AFC Ring - his may be a pro for some. As beautiful and innovative as the airflow control ring is with its ball bearing clicking perfectly into place, I've found you have to back the atomizer off the mod a tad to adjust it. However this does have its benefit because it will not change its settings in your pocket like some airflow controls.
Expensive - $170!
In closing, my opinion at this very moment is this thing is a legit game changer and may be the kayfun killer. For those of you who love to drip at home and find it inconvenient to carry this is for you. Those who like their genesis rbas who dont feel like dealing with leaking issues, this is for you.
