Ok, color me insanely jealous! LOL That's freaking sweet!

LOL thanks!
I was digging through a bag of stuff looking for something and found a couple of LED lights left over from my son's tinker crate. So why not, right?

Very nice. Little disappointed in my orca. Button is insanely crunchy and sticks.....

The enclosures need a little bit of work, sure, but that was really no surprise. The buttons are a little sticky if you just assemble from the package but it's an easy fix.
It's worthwhile to spend some time knocking the edges of the button hole down with a small file or sandpaper, and giving the button a light buff helps as well.
I'd like to see it when you get some pictures!

Quick pics. Found a use for the 20 gauge silver I originally ordered. Machined that little disc you see there on the positive. Button is getting better. Threw the thump on there. Low profile.

Next to my CC. CC needs some love. My daily driver though.

Hits wonderfully.

What type LED you using? I originally wanted the green door, green button Floris box but, without the magnets changed my mind. Might borrow your idea in green....

Looks great!
I've no idea what type of LED it was that I used, it came leftover from one of my son's science kits.... I'm pretty sure it's just your average LED but I'm not all that familiar with them.
Great use of the silver, the VT connector takes a little tweaking but it looks like you've done a good job with utilizing the spring-loaded pin!
If you feel like getting crazy, it's like a whole new device if you polish it!

So the LED may need a resistor, depending. Can't use much power. After reading a bit on the subject I'm surprised your LED didn't blow.

Yes,I managed to get the spring loaded in there. Had to trim the feed pin. Hits as hard as any mech I've ever used with the solid silver contacts. Button has worked itself out. Silver makes a lovely click when it makes contact.

It was really just for the giggle effect, nothing more. It was tested thoroughly outside the enclosure. Fun, but it only lasted a few puffs and I removed the LED.
Good to hear it's working out well for you!

No, it's pretty cool. If I can do it without it being a hassle I will.

I decided the shadow was a bit too heavy for every day use, so it was sent on to a gentleman that loves all things hellfire. I recieved this in return. I couldn't have asked for a better deal. This is completes my unicorn sqounk collection. The delrin evo has landed!
