This Vega died a painful fiery death a few weeks ago after tipping over onto the button and firing until the SS316L coils popped. Melted the delrin body of the mod around the 510 and destroyed the ModMaker 510 I had installed a couple of weeks prior. The Fury it was wearing at the time is still in bad shape. However, I was able to save the mod today with some judicious use of sandpaper and retrofitting an old Custom Classic 510. Works like new now.

And this is why one should avoid builds that exceed the battery's CDR. If the build doesn't pull more than the CDR, the battery should not vent, no matter how long the mod fires.Nope, battery never vented. Just fired until the coils popped and the heat from the atty melted some stuff.
