Nice look!! I'll have to go reconsider that one...I haven't seen many new ones that are good for dual coils, and sometimes, that's just easier for me to optimize.

Nice button - did you get that after? I'm waiting for one - and can't remember if went with Ultem or SS...
it came with it... I liked the murdered out look with the black button and atty...but it seemed to work with this atty. I'm a single coil guy, but I make exceptions. Dual SS spaced 3mm coils single strand, 7 wrap tightly spaced and it vapes like a champ.

DPRO Ordered, lol.
Threw a Pulse in the cart, as well...because, well, because $24 squonk-atty, that's why.
Plus, I've been finding some of the popular new ones a bit too tight of a draw for me, and that one looks plenty airy.

good call....You can lose the ugly drip tip that comes with the DPRO and put on the black delrin from the Pulse...then throw the pulse away! (only kidding)

See...everyone's different - that's why I have to keep buying atties to see for myself, lol.

Hell, I'm vaping a Gorge and still haven't taken down these oddballs I've been running:
A Shingen and a Galatek. Meanwhile, a Narda is sitting...

Not that they're Narda level flavor - but the airflow's nice...

I'm sure glad I have no irons in this fire anymore as it, IMO, would seem atty's are getting uglier by the day!! I couldn't even imaging raising a device to vape with those on it...

I've had a Steam Crave Squonk Mod that's been sitting on the shelf for over a year. I loved the form factor, but just couldn't get past how bad the chip was. After making a few DNA75 mods last year, I thought about how great that would be in a squonk mod. I saw someone modify the Steam Crave with a DNA200 and lipo battery, so I took my cue from that. I bought a face plate from Shapeways, and used a DNA75 chip from one of my previous builds. All in all, I'm pretty happy with it.

Yes, all real watch parts except for the watch face.

I'm liking the resin better like this! I did one with gold and smoke alcohol inks in the resin. Fun! And it worked. lol

:D

It has so much potential. One of the aussies is using some of his black and white photos and they look brilliant as well. these are great with Alcohol inks. the inks fade over time but its not like you can't just make more. hahahaha and of course resin gets much easier with practice.

People will need to form an orderly queue.:p

Cool thanks,i searched all over youtube before looking for it and never found it haha. She definitely does nice work.Searching,it seems Glass coat is only available from Australia,so i'm sure shipping would be crazy, since your here in the U.S.,what brand of resin are you using?

The brand is less important than the type. there a a couple main types of resin. Coating resin and casting/art resin. You are looking the for the coating resin. casting/art resin is a flexible low viscosity resin and will rub over time. You are looking for a coating resin. these are normally mixed 1:1 ratios and high viscosity and cure hard. They have names like tabletop coating, finishing resin or something along those lines.

Its great fun once you start and the hardest part is the preperation. The spare panels are cheap and the easiest ones to use are the leatherette ones. Remoe the leatherette and then soak the glue in turps. Once you clean off the glue, clean the turps off with alcohol and you will have a clean base to work with.

I make panels rather than pour directly into the bases. That is just a personal thing because I like the pillow top edges to the resin and I can get the designs I want that are changeable whenever I feel the need....but there is no reason you cant pour directly into the bases.

Hi fellow tinkerer.

I'm working on something that was equally awful, this used to be 100% piece of china, replaced the chip with genuine DNA40 last year. Got the idea of building a squonker and this mod became the involuntary volunteer. Made a hole on the side, prettied it up and painted the thing. Paint job is far from perfect due to lack of practice but who cares.

That lone black blob was painter over, it was a huge eye sore for me.

Still waiting for those squonk bottles I bought from Slowtech.
