Lets see it. I love a vertical coil!

I'm so accommodating. ;) Not a model coil, but a great little big vape: N80 3x30/38 triple fused Clapton 5mm 3-wrap. :)

Whilst posting Pulse pics, I thought I’d post it in the porn section too...

How are you Like'n your Pulse?

Any Quirks, Funkiness or Glaring Problems? How's the Fit n' Finish and Over-all Feel?

I've got one in the Cart. Just wanted to get some Real User feedback before I pull the trigger.

First impressions are favourable at this stage. Doors fit well with no play and are easily removable, but are held in place well. Button is better than I was expecting and fires responsibly and is not too “mushy”. Feels nice in the hand and seems to hit well, and the 510 spring has a nice amount of tension. Squonk bottle is soft which may not be to everyone’s tastes though.

The only thing I am not overly impressed with so far is the swing lock. I really dislike the design and think this could have been done better. Out of the box, mine easily enclosed the terminal it surrounds, but only actually makes contact on the front ‘tab’ of the contact. Having said that, it seems to hit well so who knows if this results in any significant voltage drop. I will be leaving mine in the on position as I do not feel the need to lock it, but I think a regular unlocker will eventually have contact/arching issues at this point.

Sounds like Over-all it is a very decent Squonk mod for the Price. That good to hear.

I saw that one of the Video Reviewers mentioned that the Voltage Drop on His was improved by SLIGHTY Squeezing the Swing Lock so it made a Better Contact. Not sure if it is something that Vandy Vape has addressed? Or if it is even a issue in the productions items?

From initial impressions, I don’t think anyone would be disappointed with that they receive for the price. That may change after some use though, which I can’t comment on at this stage.

I have tried squeezing the contact as I saw that review as well. The contact is quite springy though, so it has not made much, if any, difference. I am reluctant to squeeze it much more in case it gets deformed and because it does appear, from use, that it is making a good contact.

I hear you on that Reluctant to Squeeze it Too Much. Nothing worse that getting a New Mod and then doing something to it that turns out Bad.

If it's working Good and Hitting Well, I think I would just leave it the way it is.

Nice. Shame that there is wasted space below the bottle - I'm wondering if there a longer bottle available that would fill the void and increase the juice capacity.

I'm getting ready to do the same on my Phantom clone. The door was too tight on it,so i sanded the edges a bit,and it was good, but i wanted it better,so i sanded a bit more, and now it pops off every time i squeeze the bottle haha,so i have some nice figured black walnut on the way to make a new door for it.

Been there. Hey, if you like the mod enough to put in the time, it's totally worth is. It's weird, but sometimes I'm happier with a customized cheap mod than one I've made from scratch. Less critical about it, I think.

Yeah,i have a few i made from scratch, and still haven't finished them because i keep finding "faults" with them haha.On the Phantom,it actually worked out pretty well,i'm not crazy about the big etched graphic thing on the door anyway,so now i can get rid of that, other than that it's a nice mod,so some dark walnut should compliment it nicely. One of these days i'll get around to making some doors for the Icarus clone like you did a while back.I like the orange doors, but mine are so wobbly i won't even use the thing at the moment.
