I wanted to post this review of my Game Over.
GAME OVER!
I’ve decided to post another review of a mod I just received a couple days ago in a trade since there’s not to much input from users it seems. I got my Sunbox/IM Game Over just this past Friday so these are initial impressions of this small mosfet squonk.
In my opinion the mod is beautifully designed. The 510 is the Sunbox/IM Astro 22mm. It uses a hex key for adjustment or the Game Over key provided in the box (which I did not receive in my trade [emoji52]). The 510 has an o ring at the top to prevent atty swirl and also allows residual juice to not collect as easily. It’s a great 510 to use and even though it’s manual, I’m not the type of person who changes attys so it’s not a problem, but that’s what the Game Over key is also used for.
The body is made of Nylon. I’m a pretty big fan of 3d printed materials as I feel they don’t show the wears of daily use all too much. The nylon gives that sort of distressed look eventually which I like, but could be a con for some. The way the mod feels in my hand is superb. I have smaller hands and I feel as though it was made for my hand. Where the squonk bottle goes in has a little spot for my pinky to rest and just feels comfortable and easy to carry all day.
The tube and top are 316 ss. They both have a really nice brushed finish to them which in my opinion adds to durability you put devices through daily. The battery insert is designed to be used with the key. Since I don’t have it, I’ve found that it’s really not needed. An aspect that I like because I have a tendency to over tighten things. I can easily swap batteries and open the battery door with just my thumb it’s that easy.
The mosfet works like a charm and the button is soft with a little click to it. I would not build to low with this mod as I’ve heard people having issues with the mosfet if you do. I stay at .3 and up on all my mods and that satisfies me but it’s something to be aware of. One con I would also point out is that when pressing the top plate it might also fire if you press close to the button. I’m not sure if others are like this and if so please let me know, but this is an advanced user device so for most I wouldn’t think it would be an issue. I have not had an instance of auto firing even when in my pocket.
The bottle system was also a huge plus for me. I have a BFX bottle in there now but have a couple new Cappy R bottles on the way which I’m a huge fan of. The bottles have a unique top attachment that allows them to be easily put into the device. I use refill bottles but if you didn’t getting to the bottle via the slots on the side of the mod to refill would be a breeze. I’m hoping the Cappy R’s will add to the increased pleasure I get from using this mod.
Overall if you can get your hands on a Game Over I would recommend it. The vape quality I get from this mod and pleasure using it have surpassed my expectations. I think this mod is uniquely designed and the materials allow for it to be cost effective to the consumer. I hope I have the opportunity to get another I love this mod that much. Thanks [emoji120]
