How are you liking that new Venna?

How much does that Venna go for? I saw someone sharing a pic of the build deck on another forum and it looks good...how does it vape?

I love the easy-peasy build deck on the Venna. It's very similar to the Phenom, but the posts are swapped around (clockwise wrap vs anti-clockwise). More restricted airflow than the Cruiser or Phenom, so it's not a big DL atty. Maybe you'd call it restricted DL, or generous MTL - which happens to be perfect for me. The airflow is even smoother than the previous Hakus.

I'll definitely be getting a second Venna at some stage (at the moment, they are not selling more than one
Venna to people on lists).

My invoice was in AU$, but I'm pretty sure they are US$115 + fees + shipping.

been lookin at the half moons , what's your opinion on them,? you likey ?
I love this box, so I'm a little biased but I think it's great. It has silver plated contacts, so it hits really nice and it's beautiful to look at. The build quality is top notch. The billet aluminum and acrylic are joined together perfectly. It does have a few quirks that may throw some people off, though. The main one for me is that the HMM badge is held on by a pretty long threaded bolt and a black plastic thumb screw inside that crowds the bottle a bit. It's supposed to hold the contact in place but attempting to disassemble the box reveals that it's really not going anywhere even without that bolt.

A different design would have allowed for a larger bottle. I may eventually shave off that bolt and attach the badge with adhesive so I can run a Pulse BF bottle like I have in my Armageddon boxes. The edges are a little sharp to hold. Nothing over the top, just a little edgy. It's a big box compared to other single battery mechs and while it will fit a 20650, there would have been room for a 20700 or 21700 if not for that thumb screw and the thickness of the top and bottom of the box. Last thing is the button. It makes good contact but it's a little squishy. Again, not a deal breaker.

Personally, I think its beauty, its build quality and the way it hits make up for the quirks. Photos can't fully capture how beautiful it is. Subjective, of course.

Looks good inside apart from the obvious black thumb screw you talked about But I think the way to go is what you said , either glue the badge on or maybe grind /file the thumbscrew deal down so you can just barely hold it to secure the badge.
Either way it's all hidden and if you can't see it , it didn't happen,, right?.
Just a thought here, if the screw was removed would it make the bar a little long to keep its form and maybe not be as "springy" after a while because that a long distance from base to fire button...
IDK maybe i'm over thinking things here.
I'm going to probably get one soon,, hey every mod has it's quarks , well :evil:all mine do anyway,,,

Yeah, some sort of fastener would be needed to maintain the spring back on the contact. You can get a little more space by turning the thumb screw around so the larger diameter part is against the inside of the box. It's not really bothering me enough to mess with it yet but I'll probably try to figure something out eventually so I can jam a bigger bottle in there. All minor stuff when you get a look at the thing in the sunlight, though.

Welcome, and I do love murdered out mods. This one looks squexy.
Thanks, was thinking of ordering the SLS alumide but the shipping cost is way too high for me. This is nice enough. I didn't like raw FDM PETG finish but now I like it even more. I'm thinking of making a stab wood or arcylic acrylic panel for this.
