Got my Armagedden mod in yesterday,along with 2 stab wood doors,so i had to go straight to work on making the door fit the mod haha.The other door,i was planning to sand down to fit my little Orca,but decided i like the Armagedden enough that i'm going to buy another in white this time,and use that spare door on that.
I debated really hard on whether to get that color door or the blue/green one,and just wasn't sure if i'd like that one.Now seeing it on a mod,i'm kicking myself for not getting that one.
It wasn't my first choice but when I finally ordered it was only one of 3 left. I liked it the best of the three. It really is nice is person.
I think there was like 6 left when i got mine.The one on the mod was one i really wanted,so i was happy i got it,but the other i had planned to get sold before i got to finish my order,so i had to try and figure out another i would be ok with haha,that spare i have is ok,not great,but it'll do,i just ordered another mod in white,so that door should look ok on it.
That will look great for sure. Really even the ugliest door they had was still nice. Stabwood is so nice. I'm working on making a mod. When I figure it out I want to get a stabwood blank to make one.
Yeah,that was the problem,i couldn't call any of them ugly,just seen some that really stood out over the others.I would of loved to get one of the ones with the green and black in them,but they seemed like the first to go,i agree though stab wood is my favorite mod material because it always has a unique look to it.
I've made a few wood mods,but have never tried one with stab wood,one day i want to,but it's so expensive to get a nice blank,if i screwed it up i would be very unhappy haha.
and I'm trying hard not to cross post it everywhere

It's funny that you bring that up,i have all the equipment for it,as i tried a few years ago.I turn wood pens on my lathe,and wanted to do some stab wood,so i bought all the stuff,tried about 5 times and could not get good results,so didn't try anymore haha.I think the woods i was using were to hard though.I may get some more cactus juice and try again someday.
