I want one more decent squonker this year, but I'm having such a hard time deciding. I'm limiting myself to $250 so that rules out a lot of them (hey, I'm on disability and it is what it is).

I am really enjoying having a regulated squonker even though its the cheap Kangxin Inoy. However, a good mech would go the distance for me. I am not a fan of the DNA40. I've been looking at the sx350j mods at Svampiano (spelling, sorry). Some people have told me they aren't very good though?

I'm also entertaining making my own and then I can use the chip I like (sx).

I'm not normally this indecisive, lol! I guess more so with expensive (for me) purchases.

Any suggestions?

Although at first I wasn't that thrilled about it the Steamcrave squonker hasn't left my hand in the last two weeks. It feels better in the hand than the Innoy & has been rock solid. The only knock is the battery life but with onboard charging I've gotten over it. I really like it, especially for the price.

What mods do you have now, Roxy?

For people like you who take care of their gear, the Svapiamo's can last a long time. I have a 3 year old and not a single problem out of it. They are a bit big, though. They don't have the sx350j mini chip. They are sx350 without the "j". With any regulated mod, you take the chance of having a bad chipset. I have DNA40 Squonkers that are very reliable.

*nod*, I have been hearing positive things on their 3D printed shells. The wood shell on the SX350 squonk models is the one thing most people complained about. The 3D shell eliminates that issue.

I almost ordered one last week but instead I have something else from Italy that's made of aluminum with a DNA40 (that I knocked earlier in this thread) on it's way so the Evic 3D will have to wait for now.

I have a blue sunbox e8 if you're interested. It's got a dna40 chip, but it works flawlessly. I had some reservations about the dna40's also due to experience with the early chips. But the new ones have been great.

Roxy, the SteamCrave on sale is an absolute no brainer IMO. $59.98 for just the mod or $69.98 with the Aromamizer which I have. Besides me not being a fan of glass tanks the taste is really good on the Aromamizer & the build quality is really nice, take a look.

Ah, a sale does kind of make that a no brainer.

I just bought a Reo in the classies though, lol! $80 for an LP SL. I had to do it.

I might get the Steam Crave one, too.

My best bet if I want another stab wood squonker might be to make my own.

I can't believe an $80 Reo was in the classys more than 24 hours  I guess it was meant to be mine.
Nice Reo score.
I ordered the Steam crave so I'll let ya know how it goes.
Lol I have a pile of parts here also to make a wood squonk box just have to " get to it"!
