It's be easier to phrase in lunar units if not...I figured you put in a few extra zeros....[emoji1][emoji1]

My seven year old Grands are wearing out, finally. They've been good considering they've rattled inside a dashboard cupholder of a Frieghtliner for 800,000 miles or so.
Who makes ultra-durable plain mech squanders ? I mean accidently drop-kick across the asphalt and not even worry about durable ?

Had 4 of these and each have given a different set of issues. But I loved them when they worked
Stunning wood!!Another one with a story, an early Reo Woodvil 18490 (c. 2011) with highly figured maple burl wood. Robert turned down the brass RM2 to match the diameter of its small brass catch cup (and it's drilled for DL vaping). I added the Calamity Jane name because she's an old gal that shows some age from a sordid past with many other masters before she came to live with me in January 2016.And because she's my favorite of the five smaller Woodvil's I acquired, three 18490's and two 14500's (the other four are from 2014 when they could still be found in classifieds occasionally before they became very scarce). She was a shirt pocket carry when in use around the house, and sometimes when I went out to run wee hours of the night errands.

Stunning wood!!

I don't know what I want more.
Spydros car or his vape collection?????????

One of four I bought from the last Reo Woodvil run that Robert made and was put on sale 5/23/2015. This one is Quilted Maple w/Marine Brass Nuppin' V2 - matching Syner DT.

This run was something around 400 'Mech' Woodvil's (so called mech's by Robert because of the flat top 510 that allowed mounting larger atty's flush on top instead of the earlier Woodvil's with 510 catch cups). Pictures of it while in production.

You do know that the first step is admitting you have a problem right?A few of the other 18490's that I have pictures of with much higher quality woods (while still in production) that he used for around 20%-25% of the 250+ of them he made in one of the batches of them. He also got into stabilizing those with higher quality wood, a very prudent thing to do if you know about these woods. But some of them with mixed results. The later included Calamity Jane... as she is slightly warped so the door is a bit caddywampus. That just adds appeal to me to call her a name that is true to the 1800's namesake.
