Got my first regulated Squonker and must admit, it's learning curve if you're used to mech Squonkers. Someone told me on FB that the vape is different, and I get that now. It's going to take some playing around to dial it in. I love a very warm vape and I can't seem to get that w/out tasting a slight burnt taste. Going to try a different atty next time. Actually, my next goal is to find a better atty then the ones I have.

Just glad I finally got one to check out and start figuring my sweet spot on this!

Nice! And you should be able to use the Chalice without the flatter adapter :)

Be careful not to bump that pile of dominoes next to it. Those regulated squonkers aren't as tough as what you're used to.

LMAO!!!

You go girl! Congratulations on a very fine choice for your first regulated squonker! A Catfished Stumpy would work very well parked on top of that beauty to start, but then don't mind me as I may have a slightly biased opinion...:)

WOW! That's a nice collection :thumb:

Does the Stumpy mainly a DL hitter and can it be dialed in. I'm kinda a tweener of MTL to DL.

Indeed, it sure can. Nine holes total. Six that can be throttled for dual coil and three that can be throttled for single coil. Coil size, placement and wicking can be used to tune it as well.

Congratulations!!

I think you need some more airflow, even though you want it warm.
You'll likely be dialing up the watts and building a little lower ohms to get some heat - and that means a bit more airflow. This can be done without getting "big airy" lunghit attys for cloudsbro.

Me? I'm a "restricted lung hit" vaper, and if I were you I'd keep a look out for:
NUPPINS
Catfished Rogue
Catfished Manta
Rosco NarDa

Good call Train, all of those are all certainly fine choices as well. In fact, the Rogue was the very first atty I had on my very first SunBox.

Wait - I just say in another thread you have Nuppin?
Open that puppy up, you can crank a Nuppin up a little hotter than a Chalice I think...

That was the first atty I grabbed to build on and use BUT....I accidentally build it at .60 Ω (hard habit to break) and just slapped in on the P67

Nice score angie! Once you get it dialed in you will be hooked. I love the regulated and still use my mechs as well [emoji4]

Never tried a Nuppin and I hated the Rogue but totally agree about the Manta V2 and NarDA. The NarDA is easily my favorite atty ever. I'd also add Hellfire's Viper V2 to that list. It doesn't have the typical Hellfire 1mm air hole. I'm not sure of the actual size of the air hole but the draw is, IMO, close to the NarDA's. The flavor is also pretty damn close to the NarDA's. The batches of Hellfire stuff don't come out frequently but they seem to last longer on the Hellfire site than the NarDAs do on the Nar Mods site. Well, the Predator doesn't but that's another story.

Congratulations Angie..here's my take..hope you find it useful or relevant. I started with regulated mods and RTAs with restricted air flow, and then moved to squonking on mechs. You might want to try building at a higher resistance. With a restricted draw like the one you're getting with your chalice, I find a 1-1.2 ohm build ideal with wattage between 18-20 to be perfect...possibly lower depending on the juice (sometimes I am happy @15 watts). In my case I didn't have to change my build or airflow (or even nic level). But I am not really into cloud chasing, so YMMV
