I'd never heard of squonking but was looking for a mod that I could vape all day under hot conditions and it was suggested I look into a squonk box. Looked it up, watched a couple of Super_X vids and decided to try it out. The price of an REO scared me for an experiment so I bought a clone on ebay. Oh baby, knew I had to try the real deal if a clone was that good.

My first hit on the clone and I knew two things: A: I had to get a authentic REO, and B: I could forever lay down cigarettes with something that satisfying at the old fingertips.

Did both. My pink REO is almost too smooth sometimes. Talk about relaxing - and a thing of beauty.

Looking at this for a next bit of gear set up.

Geyscano 50 Watt Box Mod (Squonk) by Yiloong

It has mixed reviews. Thinking here for me, a modest squonk kit
to start at an affordable price suits. Maybe eventually I may look
into a REO but for the now ... $100+ is a bit steep. Granted, I see
they are quality product. Not knocking anything except being
Appalachian & poor.

Kind of chomping at a bit for Spring to arrive. Will be hopefully
starting on doing some wood working, maybe sell/trade some
'primitives' stuff, mod stands, bird house and so on.

Seems I am semi-retiring despite telling my wife, "I'm already
tired, why do i want to get tired again?"

Actually I was just given one of those as a gift and I have to say I was surprised...pleasantly so. It has its nuances and issues of course but other than that and if you can deal with them it delivers! It does what it's supposed to do. So it eats through your battery (slower than the battery indicator suggests), waking up from sleep mode can get to you and piss you off, the finish leaves a lot to be desired, and atties other than its own - reportedly horrific - atty don't sit flush, and it might not be the most accurate device on the market. BUT it works well and does its job just fine. I use a 1 - 1.2 ohm build and use it at 25 watts and I do enjoy it. So in a nutshell in terms of value for money I think it's a very good deal!
