On seeing SQ here thought I gotta have one, Went small but hits big for a 0.4 build, Vaplng NETTs at moment.
Mine doesn't have a gap with any rda I tried so far (about 5 or 6 different ones so far). I have to adjust the 510 pin to each rda, but after fine tuning it they are gap free and I can usually get the air holes lined up to the sides like I like them too.
Edit- I should mention that I use the protector disks under all my RDAs to keep from scratching my mods, that may help you to fill in the gaps. I have not tried using one without a disk under it so I can't comment on my stuff being gap free without the disk, but it seems i still have lots of play left in my 510 pin.

Looks like ilI' have to go for a gap filler Zaryk I've gone tight as I can with the key, unsure how far to go without damaging.
My only issue with the SQ is their rapid reproductive rate
No gap issues here. Any atty over 18 mm (only 1) has a rash guard on it but it’s just vinyl and wouldn’t help with any gaps.
They look great, Got a fav so far, If three a crowd, What's four and five answer, Nine, Keep reproduceing.
I know you're gonna say don't, But was thinking take out ajustable pin then file a 1mm off,
As long as you are comfortable with that process, and you clean up the metal shavings well, it could be a decent solution. You will just want to be super careful you keep it nice and square so that you maintain full contact with the face of your atomizers 510 pin. If done properly it should be fine, but you may need to order a new 510 if it gets messed up.
Risky, but if you take your time and do it right it could pay off for ya.

Favorite so far?
For hand feel, the black Punisher. The finish on it feels like silk.
For looks, the Samurai has a slight edge. The engravings are deep and sharp and exquisite. But, I love the all black Punisher too so it’s only a slight edge.
The LE has some new doors on the way which could shake up the pecking order here pretty soon though

Can't you send it in to VA and have them repair it....not good form for them to have a 450$ mod which craps out after 5 months
I'd give them a shout if I were you.
Just saw this squonker reviewed....it's a lovely piece...good design.
