All those mods I just showed you were made by an ECF vendor with the username pdib, but he no longer make mods. These were his threads:

ETA: Are there any other comparable models out there that can actually be purchased new right now?

Also, if I was that good at making something I certainly wouldn’t stop making it. What a shame they stopped!

At one point, Peter had a two-year backlog of people wanting one. By the time he stopped, that backlog had been cleared and pretty much everyone who wanted one (and was willing to pay for it) had gotten one (or more).

For a long time all you had to do was follow the moders forum here and wait for them to start producing mods, ECF was the hot bed for a long time. Pdib, Custom Classic, Turbocad/Big Apple Mods (and others I’m sure I’ve missed) have all produced works of art that have stood the test of time.

I agree and have tried to get mods this way but was always too late with money in hand. I was not complaining just explaining sometimes it is hard to get one of them.

I agree, and times have definitely changed. From when I first got on Pdibs list to getting my first mod from him was almost 2 years (and 1 new style of mod). I was fortunate enough that after that he kept on producing (and I kept on securing spots) for awhile.

Very nice,I was never lucky enough to secure a spot for of those. I have got a couple others but after trying to get a device this way for so long I guess is why pre orders don't bother me like they do everyone else.

My last device I picked up,which I am sure you should know about is,my SuperT E L A mechs. Those were the last. From payment to getting the device in hand was about 8 months . I did enjoy purchasing mods this way back then if you wanted a nice device ,it was the only way to get them. Memories???

I guess my question is: is there anything in the $300 range that's just as lovely? Also, is vaping art the best site to look or are there other sites I should be checking?

if it is the design that you like, there is 2 custom classics in the classies ATM. Access is funny now though. I don't think we are really meant to talk classies, but if copper or 7068 aluminium in much the same design suits. I'm sure someone could link you up with the seller if you don't have access

in general though, modders are favouring facebook groups for direct sales. You should get a stab wood (or natural wood) for that price, i would think.

I'm not sure what's available these days or what the prices are like. I haven't bought a new mod in several years, and I have enough "nice" mods to last me the rest of my life.
