Okay, so I finally got the knack of filling and refilling tanks, no problems any more. The Smoktank tanks from Smoketek work great, too. Look good with their nice shiny chrome endcaps.

So why am I pining for an SS tank? I've fallen head over heels in love with the Purple Reign VPX Cartomator tank. Beautiful color and love the SS.

Does it just happen that we want big and better things? And why are they always more expensive? =]

Oh and next question, only Vaperfexion carries the Polished SS endcaps not Nhaler, so I need to get it from there now. What is the difference between the VPX and T316 Cartomator?

I haven't switch to a mod battery yet, that's for a whole nuther conversation...like why are they better than say my Ego Twists 650 and 1000?

Been ordering bits and pieces and parts and trying new juices. But then when everything comes in, I'm sorta sad when there's nothing new in my mailbox. I'm sure I'm not the only one. It's just so easy to shop online!

And holy heck just going through the threads on here where people post pics of their setups, well that's where I see new stuff I want! Gorgeous tanks!

Liquinator seems to be popular also, but currently not available in SS. Phiniacs are gorgeous, too, but expensive! Wanted to try a glass tank.

Sorry, just rambling on here, any thoughts?

May the vapor be with you!

To me E Cigs are like having a new hobby. Like RC Car Racing. You can get all sorts of stuff to bling up your setup.

Not to mention it seems that I have to fiddle around with everything I purchase because it always ends up failing after using it for awhile.

For instance I bought an eGo Tank Starter Kit. Everything worked well for about four or five days then everything started leaking. Tried everything off the internet to remedy what was going on however nothing worked completely. So I Abandoned the Joyetech System.

Orders some CE4s the other day and they worked perfect the first go `round when out of the box. But when I let them sit overnight with Juice in them I would get dry hits like crazy. Don't know if the Wicks just don't work at well. This led to me fiddling around with getting the 4s to work and I have figured out a few tricks which have led me to continue using them. However the performance and reliability I was looking for still isn't there.

I would also like to get the opion from some vets as to why they use other MODs. I was looking into getting something solid at 5Volts for around $25 which shouldn't be an issue. One thing at least is they tend to be more powerful, I mean at 5Volts how can anyone say they are not?

Vape mail rocks! Just ordered my 1st twist, so excited :)

Oh you'll love it! I just ordered my fourth today! Another Ego Twist 1000 mah in silver. Have one of these already, one 650 purple Twist and one 650 black Twist. Love - LOVE them after using RN4081 auto stick batteries.

Which kind did you get?

I def know what you mean. I love vape mail. But I went from 510 to making my own box mods in like four months. But I'm kinda a tech nerd to begin with.

Right now I waiting on all the parts for my latest project. I'm making a OKR-T/6 variable volt 2x18650 w/on board charging and an led volt display. I'm putting it in a aluminum case with a illuminated trigger switch. No I'm not excited about it at all!!!

My advice to you is only shop within your budget. Because we can all get carried away with things.

joyetech 1000mah, green. super cheap at vapors-choice, only $22. Needed some CE3s too, so got 2 boxes. Ended up adding a couple small CE2s and a 2ml rebuildable CE2 tank with a spare atty. I'm so hooked :p good news is Ive saved like $550 according to my banner, and this order puts me around $300 spent. And if I ever find the perfect setup (read: kundalini) all I'll need is replacement attys/coils & juice :p

That's how I started looking at it, too, like a hobby. "Bling up your setup." I like that!

I went from RN4081 auto stick cigs to the Ego Twist. Since the Twist doesn't have a setup, someone on another Forum just suggested I pick up a couple of batteries and a charger. That worked great for me. Well, actually I now have three Twists with another on the way I just ordered today. Now I have two chargers. I also have a wheeled cart with eight multi colored drawers to hold my growing collection.

I never had any luck with clearos. Bought two, fried the first one, the second one just didn't do it for me. Besides, they were short wicks. Bought a longer wicked one and it still tastes burnt even though I let it sit overnight, too.

Oh well, I'm happy with dual coil cartomizer tanks since I finally got them down down pat on how to fill them and refill them.

But I was thinking if I went with a new mod battery, I'd need new cartos and new chargers.

May the vapor be with you!

Oh I like that idea, since I've saved about $680, I use that on my new hobby! LOL! Even if I spend as much as smoking, I'm still healthier now!

I will post pictures as soon as i have it assembled i'm still waiting on a few last parts.

This is my first Mod. It's a Altoids Tin Mod using the Madvapes VV regulator and 2X14500 batts. I found that the 9V plug and battery holder work better than the AA tray battery holders do if you take them in ad out all the time to charge.

There are lots of Mod kits out there for electronic newbies. But don't be afraid of them there great.
