Ok.. need help, specifically from the 6v crowd. What exactly are you using for a good 6v experience?

I have 6v, and some 3ohm clearomizers. I sampled these on a 5v mod, and it was all fine, although that was day 1-2 into this, so hard to say. There was obviously something different, assumed it was just heat and intensity.

So now i set up 6v, with the CE2 clearomizers.. and and it's hit and miss.. Most hits taste burnt, most, not all. And it's repeatable across a few flavors. Drop in 3.7 and it's a nice flavorful vape, so the wick isn't toasted. So the wicking is to slow, or the flavor is getting blown out.

If you respond, please tell me what you are using, and even what you've used that didn't work. (It's data that might be worth getting into a spreadsheet for the next 6v n00b, as subjective as things may be).

Admittedly, HV vaping might not be my thing. 3 weeks in and I'm not craving throat hits, a smoky taste, or volumes of vapor; it's pretty much nicotine and flavor...

What kind of juice are you using ?? Fruity Flavors ??? I have found that most sweet fruity juices burn very easy and VERY quick at 6v.. I use Dekang RY4 @ 6v with 2.5 ohm boge cartomizers, Same vape for over 2 years and it is my happy spot. Why are you against polyfill ???

Sorry, updated post:

If you respond, please tell me what equipment you are using (atty, carto - links if you have them), and even what you've used that didn't work. (It's data that might be worth getting into a spreadsheet for the next 6v n00b, as subjective as things may be).

Dislike polyfill because it's to much osmosis. Slow and to much waste.. but if it's working for you, I'm in no position to argue.

I use 6v with the following

3 ohm Boge cartos from CCV great vape but I seem to burn through them in about 15-20 ml (1.5-2 days for me) I find that in my UFS I basically open juice controll all the way air controll 1/4 to 1/2 a turn and vape away.

1.5 ohm DCC Smoktec cartos from Deejstuff all of them I have tested are actually about 1.7 ohms. Again same setup in UFS I get about 20-30 ml through them (2-3 days)

These are the only 2 things I have tried at 6v I personally found that e2's (up ro R5 was the last I tried) didn't wick fast enough for me even on 3.7

I suspect wicking is the problem, especially given you cite the e2's.

Same here. I like CE2's, but they just don't wick fast enough (even after modding) for anything above the low 4.x volt range in my experience. I've been running one of the new dual coil atomizers in my UFS at 6V for a few days, now, and it's working beautifully! CoV carries them, I assume they're the same as the one I have

Other than that, the only things I run at 6v are 4 ohm attys and dual coil cartos

I think I've come to the conclusion that my sweet spot is ~8-10 watts, at least for single coil. So, ordered some attys/cartos in the 4.5 range (as well as plenty if batteries). I'll try the 5.0ohm once in stock to see how that works. I've heard good things about there stuff,so look forward to it.

Also going to try the dual and even triple core from COV. Perplexed as how the wattage works with those, but I guess that becomes a function of surface area. Only one way to really find out.

Hopefully have this peace of art showing it true function by mid week :).

Cheers, and Thanks.
