does anyone know what the thread size of this button is? im looking to put a jamb nut on the inside of the tube to keep it in place so it wont unscrew from the tube when putting it in the locked possition

I know this seems out of topic, but does anyone know the thread size of the GGTS tube? I bought the 18650 extension quite some time ago but it wont thread all the way in. I've tried removing 0.1mm from the inside of the extension tube but it still leaves 1mm gap and wont thread all the way in 
you see 1 mm of the telescope threads or you see only the begining of the threads Race?

I've tried tightening and loosening lots of times trying to get it to thread deeper, even sanding down didnt work (probably because its SS and it's really hard material... doh)

....which means Radio Shack has the jamb nut. Here's one I am using for FrankenGG II
The threads in the bottom tube are buggered up just enough to keep the button switch from being fully tight. The jamb nut is still in rough condition so it will be polished before final assembly and will hold the button switch just right.
GGTS #1356... the extension tube wont thread into the original ggts tube and it's worst when trying to thread it into the bottom connector piece...
