I finally got enough extra cash set aside and luckily the were some in stock at COV. I got my order in last night and couldnt be more excited to join you guys.

I joined a co-op awhile back and should have a Genisis LV on the way and i was wondering if anyone can let me know if it is compatible with the GGTS and if so what additional pieces (if any) ill need to make it work/look right.

The diameter of the genisis is 18mm i believe. maybe someone familiar with both devices can help me out a little

yea, i ordered the 510 and not the rca. Keep in mind ive never seen either in person but its my understanding that the atomizers sit down into the top of the GGTS, so if the genisis is bigger in diameter than a standard 510 aty ill have problems. I seen a video on the GG review thread called "no words" and the guy in the vid had that seemed to be some form of a genisis and i think he changed out a piece on top of it?

Doesn't it use a 510 connection?

wfarrar33, congratulations! i bought a ssGGTS some weeks ago, i bought also the Genesis LV (i think the same co-op that you joined), for sure it will be compatible with the ssGGTS. The ssGGTS can be used with 18650 batteries, that are 18mm in diameter, so i think the Genesis will look very good on the ssGGTS.

Nothing personal, but the reason I asked Ariel is because he's had his SS for a while. The reason why I asked is that in my experience the earlier aluminum models required Preventive Maintenance Checks & Services on the threads, or else the threads would oxidize and prevent electricity from getting to the atty. If I let the PMCS go too long, I'd discover the TS wouldn't hit as hard or quit working entirely. At the time, I had broken my right-dominant-hand, so disassembling the mod was somewhere between extremely difficult to downright impossible.

Brilliant, capable mod otherwise, and I'm betting the stainless steel build will prevent this requirement. Not needing regular detailed polishing to stay super sharp looking is also a nice benefit. Looking forward to getting and trying this, not to mention the iatty and UFS...but I can put my last remaining AFSv2 to use in the meanwhile.

What I really learned to respect was extended use reviews...did the mod work after a few weeks or months of well, extended use. A mod is like a girlfriend, you only can get to know them after you've lived with them for a while.
