Ss mesh wicking

I know this question has probably been asked already but here goes. I have a AGA T2 and having problems with mesh wicking 100vg juice. Here is everything i have tryed 400 and 500 mesh , solid and tube,dual wicks grain going vertical , wicks with silica and cotton in center , tight and loose wicks, oxidized and unoxidized wicks i can also thin the vg but don't want to lose flavor any and all help is appreciated thanks

I used tightly-wound solid #400 & #500 SS wicks (70mm) in my AGA-T2 for quite a while and didn't have problems with them at all (I've since switched it to a ceramic wick) ... and that was with Boba's Bounty (100% VG).

A couple of key factors though - as suggested above - leave the fill hole open, don't over-oxidize the wick (one cleaning burn before you roll, and once afterward is all you need), and most important: give the wick some time to break in! It usually takes at least a tank full of juice until they really start wicking correctly.

If you have problems with hot-spots because of the lack of heavy oxidation on the wick- use the Petar-K or drill-bit method to make your coils - easy to do & hotspots will be either non-existent, or very simple to remedy.

Worked for me.....
