SS Rope Wick for AGA T2

Hi guys .... its me again!! I already find a good combo for silica and nano coil for my aga ...

Thinking to get some ss rope for my aga t2 to see how it goes ...

Can I use the one that my hardware store sell? Or it has to be some specific rope?

Galvanized not galvanized? 7x7, 7x39?

Need help .. don't know what to buy ..

Also I check and the hole of my aga t2 is 3/32 but don't check the information tape on the wick and
don't know if that is in ml or cm!!

You want non galvanized, 7x7 works fine (some say better than 7x19 but I've only used 7x7), 3/32" fits the AGA

Went to Home Depot the other day to look for ss cable. They only had galvanized steel rope. What is the difference? As far as I know, galvanized steel is used for modern bbq grills.
Is it safe for food to be in contact with galvanized steel? | American Galvanizers Association

For $.50 a foot, kinda hard not to pass up. Thoughts?

Galvanized metal puts off hazardous vapor when heated. It is definitely not safe for vaping. If you have a tractor supply company store near you they should have the ss rope you need.

Have some up and running in my RSST and it vapes like a dream with some 3mm Ekowool on top. No more tilting! Firing it with a braided 28g kantal, 3 wrap @ .55 ohm.
