ss wick in a vivi nova

i know that you can use a ss u wick in the vivi nova, but can you do it with a metal tank??? i like sweet juices and some menthols that can crack the polycarb tanks. thats why im wondering.

the only problem i can see is the metal wick could scrape the sides of the tank removing the anodizing and exposing the aluminum underneath

its probably possible, but more likely a pita due to more area for shorts. maybe use a short ss wick like the older style nova heads.

are you thinking like the v2 or whaat ever one that was? just a .25 of an inch sticking out on each side or maybe a shot Sheppard's hook style wick one long leg???

what harm would that cause? maybe poison the juice???
