Flavour Vapour are planning to host a meet on the 26th of July to start around 4/5pm. There's a number of people already expressed interest in attending so it'd be nice to get the numbers up if any of you have a free diary that afternoon and are local or can make it to St Helens. There may even be a cloud contest with some free juice for the biggest cloud if there's any sub ohm vapers attending. There's a pub literally opposite for anyone who'd like a pint or two before/after, there's coffee available in the shop along with plenty of seating.

They're based on Barrow Street in the town centre, up the street from Cafe Nero and Natwest.

Which Flavour Vapour?

£45 single eGo kits? £2.99 protank heads. £3.50 iClear heads. £7.99 Evods.

I can only presume you are talking about another company?

:)

B&Ms have higher overheads than online shops, considering its probably a franchised operation, there are even more fees involved. Prices tend to reflect that :)

Anyways, the staff at the FV in St Helens are great, I've been in a couple times and bought one of those single Ego kits (it was actually £29.99) unless theyve had a major price increase in 2 months time...

I unfortunately will not be attending this meet even though its a stones throw away, but know some of the folks that will be there and they are great to hang out with, definitely worth the visit :)

Vape Escape don't sell at these prices, nor do other B&M stores.

These prices aren't about overheads, they are about raw profit.

Each to their own. I am sorry to bring it up. I will step down from further comment.

:p Not really a big deal, the post wasn't about buying, it was about a meet anyways :)

But was just having a gander at prices because your comparison did make me wonder if FV was possibly seriously overcharging, which I am against as I have seen far too many new vendors aim to take advantage of new vapers with prices like that.....

Anyways, 2 EVOD starter kits...

VapeEscape EVOD 650 Kit [VE504] - £39.95 : Vape Escape £39.95

FlavourVapour Double EVOD starter kit » Flavour Vapour £52.99

The Kit contents are vastly different which would reflect in price. VE offers 2 batteries, 2 evods, charger and 5 replacement coils while the FV kit includes 2 batteries, 2 evods, 1 bottle of 10 ml e-liquid, USB charger, Wall adapter, case and and LIPO guard bad. the price difference is only £13.00 (rounded off)

Now as an old time vaper, I would go with VapeEscape simply because I wouldn't need and don't want all the extras that come with the FV kit, but, if I were going to suggest to someone making the switch, the FV kit would be the better bargain and have everything a new vaper would need to get them going.

Sorry for the thread hijack :)

Anyways, I hope everyone who attends the St Helens meet has a fun time :)
