I have been building stainless mesh coils on my RDA (infinite stillaire). It works but doesn't hold alot of juice. Since it can't touch anything metal I find I can only build one that is between 1/4 in and 1/2 inch long, it is thick but I only get like 3 maybe 4 hits out of it, then it tates burnt real bad.
Doesn't matter how much I drip in since it can't absorb what is on the deck.
I like mesh because you can change juice practically instantly. I have added cotton and readywick to the center and yes it holds more juice but I have to clean it if I want to change my juice.
When I started dripping I had a 510 bridgeless atomizer and it was cool since you could change your juice w/ no hassle. i would get a ton of hits off of it before it tasted burned out.
I build my stuff now and have no interest in going back to that but want to create that same experience only better since I am building myself.
I have been wondering if there is some kind of small ceramic or heat resistant glass dish that the wick/coil could sit in, like a tiny puddle of juice.
I did try sticking some cotton underneath to feed the mesh but it wasn't so great.
Any info or ideas would be most welcome.
Thanks
