OOOKAY... I've been messing around with this for a bit. quad-barrel, dual serial/dual parallel...but I've added a bit of a twist........MESH! I figured I can pull the cotton, dry-burn, replace the cotton without fiddling around, twisting, threading, etc, and get repeatable results. So far, the cotton hardly seems to need replacing at all, which is cool, and the mesh is just wicking the juice off the cotton bed like a champ.

Decent clouds, not really cloud chasing spec but it could be done with thicker wire, lower ohms, twisted, ribbon, etc. Current resistance is .6ohm (1.2 per coil pair)

to build it... wrap a 5wrap around mesh, leave a gap like doing a diamond coil, another 5wrap, then snip the mesh. Build a second coil of the exact same dynamics. It'd be about 2mm mesh center. Small little posts resting with cotton all around em. Make sure to torch the HELL out of the coils. The lack of hotspots shall be your thanks for torching them. Sorry my pictures suck, blame shaky hands and an Iphone 4. the tricky part is snipping the mesh between the two coils without snipping the joining Kanthal.

The flavor is just insane, eats a good amount of juice, doesn't seem to gunk up much at all and when it does (which took a lot of very heavy vaping) I just dry burned it clean. The cotton didn't take much damage from the first dry-burn, and I ran it a second time with no burnt taste. Replaced the cotton after that second round for looks, but still had no burnt taste. Just wanted to try replacing it and change to flavors that wouldn't have mixed well at all.

By the way...any suggestions for my next build? I'm currently trying to build a dripper that basically doesn't need rebuilding...ever if possible. We'll see if I can come close.

Sooo....Update. It's still not gunked up, burnt at all, etc. Just happily sizzling away, chucking a respectable amount of vapor. I've found a problem though. I want SO badly to rebuild, but its such a nice setup I don't want to take it off. Might need to buy a few more tobhs....

Edit: I'm switching in the most gunky flavor I have. The dregs of a bottle of "brownie" that I just couldn't vape on anything else. we'll see if that has any effect.
