Recently started tinkering with Genesis tanks, and after going through lots of stainless steel, ekowool, silica, cotton, and wire I found that SS definitely gave me the best wicking for chaining. Alas, I was Googling around and I ran into this thread:

I dug as deep as page 20 before I kind of gave up looking for the results of Boden's lab tests. Does anyone recall what was found?
