Put it this way. I just bookmarked the site since it looks like it should work better than the 26ga silver plated copper wire I'm using for my glass tube coils.

You probably could. Before using though, I would run a lighter over it until it glows just to remove any possible impurities.
Considering that the MSDS sheet recommends using a respirator when using it, I think I would pass.
Yes, but thats for using it for the wires original purpose, which is as a welding filler. Welding with SS is hell on the lungs due to the fumes from getting it that hot. Our attys don't get anywhere close to the melting point for stainless, which is the temps where fumes would cause an issue.
