As I look around and see all of these hybrids using stainless steel wicks I wonder if anyone has attempted to repack a cartomizer using stainless steel wool in place of regular filler?

or even bronze wool for it being a non ferrous alloy, not a great electrical conductor yet having great thermal conductivity. thoughts?

I am going to fill an empty(removed polyfill) Boge carto with SS "bonuts" and see how that works. If your not familiar with that term just do a ECF search for it and you'll see what I mean. if it works I will start a new thread about it.
Interested in a step by step, I may follow yours up with SS and Bronze. Do some comparisons.
yeah theres a guy...i saw it when he made the initial post on the Bonut...look that up...its pretty clever and the people who've tried it says it works pretty well
i dont think he's repacking a carto...he's just putting the bonuts around an atomizer
Normally I am a "search" finatic, these are the first boards I have been registered to where the amount of post almost nessesitate a search within a search, inseption search (TM)...lol. Thanks for the feedback!
