I've been reading here for quite a bit now and decided to finally delve into DIY - I have PG and VG ordered as well as some nic - I plan to start out with single flavors and then ease into some of the simpler recipes that sound the best to me from the recipe section - to start things out my question here is, what are your favorite stand-alone flavors? Those that are tasty by themselves or maybe just a touch of sweetener? Thanks for your replies

I love vaping Zone's Gourmet and Super Concentrated flavorings. Their peach to me is the best I have ever had because it tastes just like the fruit and not a candy or jello. You also use 1-3% in a recipe so I think it is more economical. Just my 3¢ (inflation). I stopped adding sweeteners to my DIY because it seemed to me my coils had less gunk without it and lasted longer. This is just my own observation of course. I know others love to use it with no problems.

Rainbow Sherbet FW - have been making this for a year and still love it. Great citrus and also good with a bit of sweet cream.
Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble CAP +1 for this - a good standalone and with extra blueberry and/or with creams. You can search for several recipes using this. The BCC abbreviation is used in several threads rather than the full name.
Chocolate Raspberry CAP - tried this a few weeks ago and like it standalone and especially mixed with Chocolate Coconut Almond CAP, extra raspberry and a touch of sweetener. See my recipe in the CAP only recipe thread.

First, sure wish those who suggest a flavor would mention a flavor percentage that works for them . . . give us a place to start!
For me these tfa flavors by themselves are enjoyable.
Mocha, 5%. New to me, courtesy of Bill on DIY forum, is Fudge Brownie at 6%.
Watermelon at 15-17% is good. Can't find a happy place for Juicy Peach--been all over the map.
All above were with no additives of any kind, 50/50 or 70/30 pg/vg and 1.2 nic.

True, about the percentages but they would only be suggestions since most folks have huge variations in that department. As a rule, you can look up the flavor online and recommendations are given with each so I suppose anyone trying to diy a stand alone would have very little research to find out;)
