standard size or XL cartos???

standard work best with regular batteries. I also have XL's, I'm still trying to warm up to them. I use them on my 650 X2. Starsong is right about the filler, a bit different. The core tube is much wider, too, so it is a lot more difficult to drip into it. I think that is my biggest gripe about the XL's. Other than that, they seem to be working ok, as long as I make a mess with the spin (I keep forgetting to put the plug sleeve on). /sigh

With the regular batteries, you'd have to recharge the batts anyway with the XL (standard cartos last me about 1 1/2 charges), so +1 for standard. But like kia, I'm just about done with the polyfill cartos (PITA to clean) and waiting for the new fillerless ones...just not as patiently. 
I haven't even tried the xl cartos with my volt because on my ego, I get almost no flavor and almost no throat hit with the xl's, I just hope SI comes out with some ce2's because I just tried them today and I love them, and the bigger clearomizers would be too much for me with how often I switch flavors
I alternate between regular and XL. I guess I'm not as selective as others are and don't notice a difference in taste between them at all. I keep an XL loaded with a VG vanilla on my work/computer desk and it lasts me about three days and a recharge or two. I'm also using the XLs for other flavors and love how long they last. I've also used a clearo but found it very easy to overdose on nicotine with it using JC PG juices, had some really strange dreams.
