I'll be going to Italy in a few days and was wondering if it would be wise to put all my vaping gear in my big luggage, I am a bit worried it might be seized at security (I have 3 ego batteries, a lavatube and a wood box mod)
Also, do you know if pressure and temperature changes can affect juices? I won't be putting the liquids in my hand luggage to save me troubles with the security checks.
Obviously, all liquids I have I received by mail, but those that I got from abroad, and therefore travelled by plane, came generally in sealed bags. Shall I put them in zip lock bags, just in case?

I do a lot of travel - EU and long-haul - with carry on only. I put my liquid in the "liquids bag" for security and things like chargers and batteries etc in my briefcase - usual have at least one e-cig in my jacket. Have never had a problem

That's good news :)
I would have put my question up on UKV, was it not down. Thanks for being so helpful both sides of the ocean :)

In 2009 I flew from UK to New Zealand and back with my e-cigs, I had a few trepidations at the time, but made it there and back with no problems.

My main worry was how would intermediate changeover stops view the nicotine e-liquid (Dubai and Bangkok) as they are very strict on items taken through. I had all e-liquid in my carry-on luggage. I took 60ml (2 x 30ml bottles). The max allowed was 100ml for carry-on. I had no problems, I just showed it in the clear plastic bag at each Customs point. Ideally take the liquid still sealed or obviously unused.

As for batteries, some airlines state they should have the contacts covered in electrical tape, be in plastic battery cases, and be in carry-on luggage. I took all my e-cig equipment (including chargers) in carry-on. I think this was due to the dangers inherent in non-protected lithium batteries. I now use safe-chemistry batteries, but would take the same measures anyway to avoid any issues.

Edit>> I meant to add I also took a small e-cig with 5ml e-liquid bottle to use on the way there, I also took this as carry-on luggage.

No problems going through Gatwick or London City to and from the Isle of Man. Do be aware that poisons are not allowed on flights, so if they pull aside your liquids bag to search it and notice the toxic label or ask what it is, you might not be allowed to board with it. That applies to hold baggage as well, but the chance of both being searched is extremely low.

Have a great trip.

Good info, I took a chance putting 'all my eggs in one basket', but even then a few packs of smokes on holiday would not be a disaster for me personally, just an (undesirable) interruption. For lithium batteries though they must go in carry-on, it makes sense.
