Stardust 2.0 V3 2.4ohm Long Wick Clearomizer burnt taste had draw.

I recently purchases 5 Stardust V3 2.4ohm clearomizers and they all give off a burnt taste and have a hard draw with little vapor. I have searched far and wide and found a few people with the same issue. I have tried to raise the silicone cap to allow better wicking hitch seemed to help a little but all juice comes through tasting burnt and nasty. I could really use some help. I even have more coming in the mail.

Ego Twist with Stardust 3.2 to 4.0 all the same.

i've bought a crapload of these from allover, and it does matter where you get it. every problem i had i traced back to knockoffs sold by scoundrels, the kanger clones are the absolute worst. i always wanted to try an authentic replacement coil in a clone body but i been too gunshy on the rebuildables to buy any more clones, been cautiously thinking about the vivi's but havent made the jump yet.

to try and help, i've used a pick to free up the coils from the wick giving them a little wiggle, helped a little. read somewhere about giving the wicks a little trim(never tried that) but the main one even with the long wicks is to give it a tip and roll. good luck

I thought I was buying from a reputable source. They even have their own thread on ECF. I have contacted them and they mentioned sending me some replacement heads at a good price if I don't figure it out. I wonder if the new ones that are coming I'll be the same. If they are I will be pushing for a refund.

Turns out my pv was pushing the center pins up too far.
