Started using my 510

I got my 510 on monday that I got from madvapes. I have been suprised by some of the reviews on batteries not lasting very long I can go 4-5 hrs without charging and even then it did not seem to need it I just swapped the batteries to see if I saw a difference in vape and I did not I still got great amount of vapor and flavor. I have gotten 8 different refills of various flavors and very berry and redbull seem to be my favorite so far. Yesterday I started using it exclusively and it was a bit harder than I thought. I did smoke 5 analogs but tried to use the 510 more than smoking. Not bad considering I was smoking 1 1/2 packs a day for 20 years. Today I have had 1 analog when I woke up and vaped so far until 5 min ago I had another analog. I actually did not care for it and put it out half way thru and went back to the 510. We will see if I can make it the rest of the day with out an analog. In the last 24 hrs I have noticed I have gotten some taste and smell back and my girlfriend who does not smoke has been more attentive to me so far and has said she has been very proud of me. I will update as I progress.

As for the batteries, yes it is most unusual that they last more than 1,5 hours on normal vaping. The way i vape a 510 battery lasts me half an hour .

Hang in there Toemoss! I don't think you mentioned the nicotine level of your e-juice. My experience was similar to yours until I moved up to 24mg liquid.

Great job toemoss. I quit completely cold turkey from analogs when my pack ran out and I was NOT going to buy anymore. This was last Sat morning and I am still analog free. I was a 2-3 pad smoker and yes, it was VERY hard that first day. By Sat night I was flooding my atty trying to get more juice (nic) in my system. Was about ready to drink the stuff or set up and IV. But I made it and I know you can to.
The battery depends on how much you actually vap. I vap like i analog'd.... A LOT!!!
I am only using the 11-16mg right now tho and am ordering the 24mg with hopes that I can set the vap down for a few minutes at a time. lol... then gradually work my way up to an hour w/o vaping?

Welcome to the family toemoss, im new here as well, but the wealth of info you'll find on this site is staggering and great at the same time. Im starting with 12mg liqui (only smoked half to three quarters of a pack a day), and it was too much at first as I was vaping like a fiend since I loved it so much. I've slowed down quite a bit now and it seems my body has adjusted to tell me when I've had too much and when I need more. I'm down to the occasional single cigarette every to every other day, which is a huuge improvement, and I definitely wont look back.

Well congratulations...if my old brain can still do some mental math, you didn't smoke 53 cigarettes over the past 2 days!!! That's a whole lot of pollution that did not go into your lungs! Pat yourself on your back big time for that.

If you feel like lighting one up, just light it up w/o guilt, and keep your whole experience in a positive light by focusing on all the ones that you did NOT light up.

For the ones you smoke, "Aint no big ting bruddah!"

A little update. Yesterday only 1 analog, that first one of the day is a tough one but I skipped that one today and did not bring any analogs with me to work so I would not be tempted. I am still getting about 4 hrs on my batteries and I am having to refill a cart about every 4 hrs as well. Thats with puffing once or twice every 10-15 min. Dunno does not seem to be the norm but I am not complaining. Acne is coming with a vengeance though I have one on my lip that is just huge! lol

The acne is normal too, bummer, but it will pass. It is the body doing a detox.

Wow, You are doing great, and congrats to you. I started vaping a little at a time, and with more knowledge hee hee, comes more vaping!!!!
It is a very satisfying experience, for me anyway.
I started with 26 mg juice and found I was getting headaches, with more research on ECF, I found I was overdoing the nicotine!!!!
So slowly over the past, what does the calculator down there say??? 80 some days, I have gone down to 16 mg.'s and usually only early in the am and just before bed.
The ACNE problem i found was for me due to the PG base. I am a VG girl only now!!!!
Oh Yeah, eventually you will smell the analog and think OMG how nasty is that. Not to mention the taste, if you like the fruity flavors, they will completely change your want for a plain analog. I smoked Marlb's and now eeewwwww!!!!! what was I thinking

Good job, you're doing great! Yeah the battery on my 510 seems to truck along great and I feel like I've been vaping a ton..I charge it periodically like if I stop for 20 minutes or so, or when I go to sleep. I haven't had it die on me yet and I use it for about 5-10 puffs and put it down for 5-10 minutes..haha trying to pace myself but its kindof hard.

Yea, new here too. I haven't gotten my 510 yet(monday maybe), but I am enjoying my 7-11 bought e-cig ATM, w/ no regretts. Except for the batt life and not having a secondary batt. Can't wait to get my USB passthrough, probably what I will use most of the time. Congrats and keep on vaping.

Well I don`t have the analogs, but I could never make a 510 batt last 3-4 hours!!! You`re doing great! Looks like the analogs are dying a quick death in your case, nothing makes me happier

I find myself carrying my pass through with me all the time for when the batts give up.

Yea, I did buy it from 7-11 for $20. They sell the same kit online for $35 at the x haleo2 website. Fairly decent, but only one batt. They have 0 nic Hookah flavors that are pretty good also.
