Hi all,

Switched to using a Blu starter pack October 1. I was really struggling, and on the fence with those. If something better were available at the gas station, where I normally bought my cigarettes, I might have switched and never looked back. While it did expose me to vaping it was a generally frustrating and unsatisfying experience.

After much research (which was surprisingly difficult) I picked up an eGo twist and an EVOD. Now that's a setup that should be gas stations, or at least an eGo-C starter kit. Several weeks, a few cig-a-likes from Halo, several more eGo batteries for my wife and I to share, a couple dozed cartos, a range of clearos, and an eVic later...

While I like the toys, and having vaping options depending on where I'm going; nothing has impressed me more with vaping than the fantastic artisanal juice mixologists and the community surrounding them. I'm down to 12mg and can easily see that dropping to zero at some point, but I will probably not stop vaping. One of the reasons I could not quit smoking was the satisfaction I got from the act. Vaping satisfies my itch.

Now where do I get my hands on a Kayfun?

Welcome to the forum and the world of vaping.
Sounds like you have traveled the same path with equipment that I did. I started with the Blu ecigs and they got me off of analogs, but I really did not like them either. Next came the ego batteries with Kanger T2 tanks and then the mini Protanks. That was a great improvement and I knew that vaping was for me.
I now have one real Kayfun Lite and two Kayfun Lite clones. I use an Evic, a Sid, a VTR and a King mechanical mod for the power devices.
The Kayfun Lite clones can be just as good as the real one if you pick the correct one. I have found the clone made by Tobeco to be the best clone.
You can get them off Ebay for less that $40 with free shipping. There is a sub forum on this forum with over 600 pages that is just about the Kayfuns and their clones.

Thanks for the advise guys. I've been lurking in the rebuildable section and am looking at the clones to start. I don't have a problem with spending $150 on a very good RBA, but it's just steel and it would be a much less expensive proposition going for a Tobeco clone. That way I won't exactly cry when I manage to destroy it.
