Hi, ECF :D My roommate and I have recently decided to switch from tobacco to e-cigarettes. We are, however, poor college students and are trying to get our hands on 2 well-made e-cigs that won't break the bank. We saw the Vapor King Shorty Value Kit on vapor4life (I'd link it, but it didn't let me :p) and it definitely caught our interest. We were wondering, however, if that kit contains the necessary components for two complete operational e-cigs, as we are complete noobs on the subject. We originally looked at Blu, but it seems like we'd be paying for the name.

Be sure to buy some extra atties right away. If you are anything like the other 99.9% of vapers out there, you are going to love vaping to no end. An extra battery or two would be a good idea as well.

And of course, make sure you get enough e-juice. I wouldn't start with less than a total of 30ml (in as many different flavors as you can get). I made the mistake of waiting for my ecig and using the prefilled carts to see how I "liked it". Well, I loved it. So much so, that I vaped all 10 prefills in 3 days and had to wait for my order of ejuice to ship. It was horrid.

Enjoy, I'm sure you're going to.

Another college guy here, very happy with the $35 no-box cignot kit! I'd recommend getting one for EACH of you (that gives you 4 atties, and 4 batteries), and then a few bottles of juice to share. Honestly, for the price this 510 gives the best performance and the most analog-like vaping experience vs. other starter models. ;)

Once you get aquainted to the thing, you can assess your wants and needs. If you want even MORE performance, there are some great mods out there to research (bartleby, eGo, chuck, prodigy, etc). Best of luck!

Going with an inexpensive 510 kit is a great way to get your feet wet. That is where I started. I got a cheap kit from bestecig.com and it worked fine but keeping batteries charged was difficult. I would also recommend a USB passthrough if you spend much time around your laptop. I have since upgraded to a commercial mod (tornado) for extra battery life.

Start small and see where it takes you!!! Glad you decided to take the plunge - it may turn into one of the best decisions of your life.

Wow! That's actually a great deal! Thanks!

It is. If you can swing it, get two mega batts as well. The regular batteries go for about 1.5 - 2 hours and the megas will go about twice that long. They're available at cignot as well. And get some juice while you're there. At $59 you get free shipping.
