Unless you really want to give up cigarettes, I think starter kits are useless.

There's an exclusive vape shop by my house and they are SUPER friendly however I'm not sure how much they know about their products.

So the starter kit is $35. It comes with 1 free ejuice of my choice, a case, a charger, a no name battery, and a smok tech rbc tank. No ideas how many oHms the coil is nor do I know anything about the battery.

I think if they made the starter kits better and tried to educate people better that more would stick with it

Some starter kits are completely viable. I think the problem is most of them aren't. Which is unfortunate, because someone new to vaping is far more likely to buy something that "includes everything you need!" at an inflated price to boot. When you can get a nice little tank and a decent spinner for 18 dollars on ebay, the new buyer might spend 40 dollars on junk that won't perform anywhere near as well.

Luckily, ECF is here for those who do a little research first!

I believe, though overpriced, they make the starter kits as simple as possible so as not to overwhelm people new to vaping. There's so much to learn and it starts to get confusing really fast.

I'm totally new to all this and on advice from a friend bought a starter kit Vamo v5 which I'm slowly getting the hang of.
One problem I have encountered is I filled up the atomizer but it got knocked on its side and leaked everywhere - does that mean you have to keep them upright? I thought they would have some kind of anti-spill built in. It's going to be a major pain when out and about if I have to keep the Vamo upright or risk spills and therefore not enough liquid left to be of any use.
Hope that makes sense.
