Starting % for Inawera Burley and Golden Ducat

Just received thes flavors today, along with 9 Hangsen tobaccos to try. From the info I've been able to find, I think my first testers of the Hangsen are going to be at 5%. I can't find anything on these two Inawera flavors though. I need a starting % for the Burley and the Golden Ducat. Most places that sell them say to start at 1% and work up, but I've found that with most flavors this is never strong enough. Inawera and the Hangsen are new for me. Just looking for a good place to start. Thanks in advance

Thanks Ron. I found a spreadsheet for inawera flavors that had copied the info from website but I dont mix by drops per ml and dont know how to translate the drops into percentage. I see a lot of people posting recipes in drops also but my dropper and your dropper may not give the same measurement. Just never got into doing it that way

I'm using the Burley, and I started at 2% and the batch I just made is at 5%, but I'm adding menthol. I would say that by itself or with a less assertive other flavor 3% might be a place to try.

I would stick to the inawera suggestions. I use vanilla for pipe pretty regularly and even 2% blows me away. If I use it with another tobacco flavor I can't go above .5% without it overpowering the mix. This, of course, after I mixed a batch at 5% and it was way too much.
The drop suggestions actually work quite well IMO.
Of course, to the point in my DIY that I only have 2 regular mixes and I use drops to measure everything. Sure, they may be inconsistent, but it works well enough for me.

I got antsy last night and couldn't wait for responses I went ahead and made 11 10ml sample bottles with all the Hangsen and Inawera tobaccos at 5% flavoring. If I just add another 10ml of my base to the Ducat, that will dilute it to around 2.5% correct?

Try them first- you may like the flavor. If it's too heavy then you can cut it. I prefer flavors on the lighter side, so my recommendation is just to my taste

I have read of people liking GD at 3%, so that might work for you if you like stronger flavoring.
