Starting my Box Mod

Hi modders

I am starting a new Box mod out of an old 510 pass through and a super mini mains charger

well the pass through is in bits and part modded still needs abit of soldering work

my problem is i can not seem to get into the charger to rip its guts out see pics


Images of the unit sorry they are not very good taken with my Xperia X8

there is no gap around the seal to "stab" anything into to help open it and no visible screws


any ideas?

My guess is that it's snapped closed and probably has some glue on the snap tabs, just try and pry it apart, be careful not to break it tho

Thats what i have been trying with reasonable force but still not showing any sign of popping open be a shame if it will not open as it is a good size for a box mod

If you have an x-acto knife, try running the blade lightly along the seams a few times, until you have made a groove. That should give you several places to gently pry around, work it apart. You might have to alternate back and forth from prying to cutting. Hope that helps.

its apart knife in one corner and wiggle it it will start to come apart (took ages on mine) guts are out need to get the soldering iron out now and strip it of a few parts and do abit of work on the pass with the iron
