I got a 14500 Reo Mini in a trade a while back. I could not get the previous owner's flavor out of it, and then it just wouldn't fire, so I sent it back to Rob for a rebuild.

Got it back and tried it with a Vapeage bridgeless atty with pretty mediocre results, a shorty carto, which despite my extensive experience with cartos and advice from you guys just wasn't giving me anything flavor or vapor-wise, and then finally I found an old stash of COV LR dual coil atties and gave that a try.

This turned out to be the answer. Massive flavor and great vapor. Haven't used an atomizer in a minute so it's a bit hot for me right now, but this vastly improved my experience with this device.

This is going to be a very part time device for me because of the tiny batteries, but I know that the next mod I buy is going to be a Reo Grand. I have had some success with cotton wicked rda, but my lifestyle and work does not lend itself to dripping at all. A 6ml bottle attached to an 18650 and a microcoil with cotton that can go a while without rebuilding seems like just the ticket for great flavor and all day use without having to carry extra stuff. Now it's just a waiting game until I can budget for a Grand next month, unless by some stroke of luck I find somebody who wants to trade a Grand for a Mini. As happy as I have been with my Provari and carto tanks, the Grand seems like it might be an even more ideal platform for how I vape on a daily basis.

Thanks to all of you guys for your help in my previous threads. I was rather discouraged at first, but I have definitely come around. Thanks also to Rob for his great customer service.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I bought both a Grand and a Mini, and while I really like the size, the Grand is just that more convenient. A fully recharged Grand with 6ml is an all day vape for me. No spares or anything else to carry.

I'll probably have to buy another Grand from Rob <sigh>

On a positive note, since I got the ohm-tester from Madvapes I don't have to use my Provari for that, so that's going to partly finance my Reo habit :D

Sooooooo. My Mini is hitting so perfectly that I haven't touched my Provari all day. This atty is a perfect combo for it. I can't imagine how hard the Grand must hit with a RM 2 on deck. Waiting this out is going to suck!

I am glad you got that mini working for you :)

If you can try to get the RM2 in your budget too. The difference between what didn't work and what does work now, is the same difference what works now and a micro coiled cotton wicked RM2. They were made for each other in Heaven .... or maybe that was Maine.

Yeah I have spent a grip of time lurking in here and particularly checking out SXD's micro coil RM2 thread and I am definitely budgeting for that as well. That seems like the ultimate setup that everyone is talking about.

A Provari isn't a bad (if slow) resistance checker, but the problem is you have to move the atty off the REO to it to do the measurement. You could replace the Provari with an inexpensive multimeter, which is more flexible, and use the rest of the proceeds toward yet another REO.

Already have one from when I first started working with RBAs :) I would love to get one of those little stand alone 510 versions that are frequently out of stock, but I have the ohm checking thing dialed for the time being regardless.

Sign on at Madvapes to be notified when they're back in stock, and then react FAST!! When I got mine they had 20 in stock, I ordered about 2 minutes later, and when I checked back about 15-20 minutes later, they were all gone.

I've got a multimeter and a Provari. The great thing with the Madvapes ohm-meter (apart from convenience) is that it is non destructive, so you can do it with a wick in, if you're just checking something (like the multimeter), and it's convenient (not like the multimeter).
