Trapped within my imagination
Hey guys, I'm slowly collecting a lil stock pile...Tody i recieved 3 more new batterys and 6 atomizers... Do i have to test all these?ugh lol And if so, can you test them by not dripping on the cart....Is it ok to store the batteries without charging them first?
Which brings me to my next Q...I washed a new atomizer to rid if of the primer, to use for eventually testing flavs without dripping.... ( my 901 was bad with it and I just cant go thru that again lol) Well since i washed it I tossed it in a film canister, until needed..Is it ok in there with no primer/priming until needed? Thanks so much for any help you can give...

Unreatled topic... real quick, I recieved my package from absolutelyecig(fasted arivng then all my other pkages by the way) i had the printed reciept in my hand which said total 102. yet on the invoice on the package it says total 184.> with a lil chinese emblem beside it... I tried using the currency converter but that didnt show anything..Anyone thats ordered from absolutely have this issue? Or should i go directly to paypal..do not pass go....lol Thanks bunches you guys ...Ivy

You don't have to test anything, if you don't want to, but it would be a b**ch if you needed something a few months later and found that nothing works.

All you ever wanted to know about charging or storing batteries- Storing and priming of batteries

Always test before storage. Then drain to 40%. Storage at proper temp prevents lose of capacity. 10 year max storage for li/ion.
Easy method- Drain until cut-off then charge for 30 min and store. Assuming full charge time is about 2 hours.

ok that part was a silly question, I know I have to test them (turning green at the thought of mouthful after mouthful of primerfluid..lol) Thanks guys and thank you Vince for the link about the batteries, much appreciated...

Anyone else with thoughts about the atomizer I have already cleaned the primer fluid off of and am storing in a film canaster? Will It be ok or should I reprime it with e- liquid until I need it? Cause If it were up to me.. I'd toss all them lil suckers in a coke bath and store... I swear, the devil himself created primer fluid taste on one of his foul mood days lol

Vince, I bought some new CR123's for my SD. I'm rotating between 4 of them and have not opened the other two. If I leave those two alone as they came new until I need them, should they be fine or should I charge and then discharge them to approximately 40%?

It's probably a good idea to do it your self because you can't count on them being properly set up for storage from the factory. It's in their best interest if they fail sooner then later so you buy more. Most come fully charged and ready to use. This way at least you know you don't have any DOAs.

Razor, I'm not sure about atomizer storage. I wouldn't think you would have to soak them, just prime good and soak a little while before use.
Maybe someone has some more info on this?
