Senator Steve King upset CO Dept of Public Health and Environment has been funding local lobbying campaigns, Dept Director Chris Urbana (who misrepresented the health risks of smokeless tobacco and falsely accused Reynolds of target marketing to youth last year) claims no laws were broken.

This is the same Chris Urbana who held a public hearing last year on dissolvable tobacco products, ignored all of the scientific evidence that was presented, and then issued a declaration condemning RJ Reynolds for test marketing Camel Orbs, Strips and Sticks in Colorado.

Lets all watch when Mr. Urbina runs for some sort of office. This is the shell game, I'll fund your cause with taxpayer monies, in turn for your campaign contributions and support when I run for office.

Is it any wonder how most politicians get elected? Lets face it, a person who legitimately feels a need to serve thier country will almost always fail at an election. All the while, a skilled beaurocrat who's experienced in shifting taxpayer money around will almost always win. More money, influence, and a solid political background is what most look for in a legislator. Whatever happened to a person's character?

The legal jargin is astounding. Call lobbying "Education" and your off and running? Whats the difference between a housing authority and a landlord really? Next when all public housing is converted, watch for when they pay landlords a premium once they go smoke free.

A bribe is a bribe to me.
